My Favorite Chapters

I felt like I truly connected with this book, every chapter has some awesome tool to add to our homeschool mom tool belt.

There were a few chapters that stood out to me specfically because I could personally relate to them.

In the first chapter as Mr.D explains how he came to his methodology of teaching. I was able to connect by taking myself back to high school where I was a struggling student. His personal story he shares, shows how truly genuine he was when creating his company and curriculum.

I also really enjoyed chapter 2, where I was able to connect my beliefs and homeschool style of creating independence when it comes to learning with my kids. It was so nice to finally pick up a homeschool mom book and relate to it.

I tend to struggle meeting the stereotypes of what most homeschool related books try to tell us as homeschool parents what to do. I never felt that way in this book.

Chapter 6 was my favorite- because TESTING is such a negative stigma in the homeschool community. Sometimes I feel like I am alone in the middle of the ocean when it comes to my viewpoints on testing, FINALLY I felt heard reading this chapter in my beliefs on testing.
